Commuting, counted

Every way to the office, with its carbon figure.

Car, shared car, bus, bike or on foot, from your postcode to the office: each one priced in kilograms of CO2 per trip. Log the cleaner one and it pays points.

01How it counts

Three things the planner does on every trip.

  • CO2 per trip

One figure for each way in.

The route gives the distance; the 2025 gov.uk conversion factor for that mode gives the kilograms. A shared car splits one drive between everyone in it, so the figure is your share.

Drive 0.9 kg, bus 0.2 kg, bike 0.0 kg

  • Shared rides

Matched on the drive you already make.

When a colleague's route overlaps yours, the planner proposes the ride and says how many minutes the detour costs and how much of the road you share. Request, accept, then log the trip together.

6 min detour, 78% shared route

  • XP, streaks and prizes

A trip that saves carbon pays up to 100 points.

XP per trip is the share of your own solo-drive CO2 you avoided, plus 10 for sharing a car. Trips on consecutive days build a streak. Each week the top three places win a prize.

Coffee on the firm, a bike service, an hour off
